Specially Pleated Design & Spacers Hold More Soil:

The PURITAN Carbon-Core Cartridge is different from other standard size cartridges. The specially designed pleats and mileage spacers greatly expand the filtering surface area and ensures every square inch is available for trapping soil. This means the PURITAN Cartridge provides more effective and efficient insoluble soil removal.

  Premium Filter Paper:

A PURITAN Cartridge contains premium filter paper. It has ultra fine pores to filter out even the smallest soil particles. The paper is also treated with a thermosetting resin which makes the paper durable, even when wet, so it holds up under the pressure of solvent flow.

The spiral lock seamed center tube is extremely strong to provide extra strength and mechanically locked into the cartridge endplates for extra strength and sure protection against carbon leakage.The outer shell has a specially designed pattern of perforated holes to assure unrestricted solvent flow through the entire cartridge for more effective removal of insoluble soils.

  Vibratically Filled Core:

The paper ends are sealed in a bed of adhesive and bonded to the endplates while the side seam consists of a full pleat overlap that is interlocked and sealed with adhesive to prevent soil bypass and ensure structural integrity.

  Protects Against Carbon Leakage:

An exclusive louvered, spiral, steel lock-seam center tube is permanently bonded all around and mechanically locked into the cartridge endplates. This provides extra strength and protection against carbon leakage. Handles are attached without piercing holes in the outer shell for additional leakage protection.
